GUIDED DISCOVERY

Guided discovery invites players to go beyond the given information to discover skills and solutions independently.  Much of our teaching comes through asking questions as opposed to giving commands, so that we can guide the players to a correct answer.  This way they become curious about the answers and actively participate in learning, which promotes problem-solving, creativity and decision-making.

Young players have big dreams! Our greatest responsibility is to provide a foundation that will give every player a chance to enjoy a long and successful soccer journey.  Through guidance, education, and instruction our age-appropriate activities help to develop well-rounded and complete players.    Discovery's top priority is the dynamic development of each individual player.

In an ever changing youth soccer landscape, it is essential to continuously study and refine our craft to remain on the cutting edge of player development.  New information is constantly offered through social media, internet, coaching seminars, conventions and licensing courses. Discovery staff is dedicated to continued education in an effort to stay current with any new developmental ideas, research and methods.  
PLAYER PERSONALITY
In order to help each player reach their potential, we take pride in learning about our players' personalities in an effort to understand what motivates them, allowing us to tailor our approach to their specific needs.
CHARACTER
Youth sport provides a platform to teach values of responsibility, respect, cooperation, communication and the importance of hard work. We look beyond the game in an effort to instill strong character on and off the field.
